Volunteers

We want you! Some possible assignments include gate admission, attendee assistance, helping vendors set up and parking coordination. Volunteers helping for at least one five hour shift receive free parking, three-day admission and a t-shirt! We ask that volunteers are at least 16 years of age (must have parental permission under 18) and be able to work at least a 5 hour shift.

Pickin’ Promoters

Pickin’ is looking for volunteers to help as Pickin’ Promoters to get the word out about Pickin’ throughout the mid-Atlantic. It’s easy and fun. We require that you assist us with at least 10 hours of promotional activities in exchange for a ticket and you will be required to fill out a one page form documenting your activities with copies of links to blogs, etc.).

You can help in three ways!

1.      Attend festivals throughout the mid-Atlantic (BBQ and Bluegrass festivals are a plus!), wear your tee shirt and hand out flyers that include a discount coupon for Pickin’ tickets at concerts and festivals.

2.      Put Pickin’ posters in area restaurants, shops and community bulletin boards in your community or when you travel throughout the mid-Atlantic.

3.      Go Viral! Blog about Pickin’, make postings on appropriate e-bulletin boards, send to your email lists/list-serv’s, post pic’s to our facebook/my space, Twitter, upload past Pickin’ videos to YouTube and more!

We are especially looking for Pickin’ Promoters in major metro areas; DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh as well as northern VA, Philadelphia, and Delaware, Jersey, Ohio, and of course, West Virginia but welcome promoters from any area within 500 miles of the festival. We will provide you with a link to tickets online and assign you unique $3 off discount coupon code that you can hand out, post and distribute.
